The Morris P. Hasvold Collection, 1921-1924

Brief Description: This collection contains the personal papers of Morris Peter Hasvold, primarily from his years as a student at Luther College, 1921-1924.  Included are letters Morris Hasvold wrote to his mother, Beate Hasvold, about his college days, class notes, photographs, programs for literary and debating societies, a LC cardboard megaphone, diploma, and a copy of The Daily Iowan newspaper, Novembe 3, 1923, with headline about the Michigan vs. Iowa football game which Hasvold was punished by school officials for attending.  The collection also contains some class notes from Ruth Levorson, Morris Hasvold's wife, and a few miscellaneous letters from family members to Hasvold's mother, Beate Hasvold.
