Brief Description: Collection contains published decrees from Danish and Swedish kings of Norway from 1759-1837 and the July 1, 1953 issue of Laagendalsposten (Norwegian newspaper) which has a frontpage article about the newspaper's found, Karl A. Wad, relative of the collection's donor.  The published royal decrees include:  Instructions Concerning the Age of Children Being Confirmed from King Frederik V, May 1759; Notice of Authority to Wear Uniforms, from King Christian VII, November 1801; Notice of How to Administer Money Affairs and Bookkeeping For Higher School, from King Christian VII, December 1806; List of Prizes and Gift to Farmers and Laborers, etc., from Prince Christian Frederik, March 1808; Open Letter Concerning Rewarding People Who Had Accomplished Something For the Benefit of the Country or People in General, from King Frederik VI, January 1812; Rules and Regulations for Teachers College in Asker, from King Carl Johan, January 1837.
