Biographical Note for Hovde, Oivind M. (1911-1986) :

Hovde graduated from Luther College in 1932.  He worked at Luther from 1935 to 1938 and 1944 to 1977 as the head librarian.  He also worked as a librarian at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
