Biographical Note for Meyer, Carl Stamm : Born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada on Mar. 12, 1907. Naturalized American Citizen. Received his BD in church history at Concordia Seminary (Mo.); received a PhD from the University of Chicago, 1954; an honorary D.D. from Concordia Theol. Sem. (Ill.) in 1963. married with three children; taught church history at Concordia Semniary, starting 1954.
