Biographical Note for Strømme, Peer O. (Peer Olsen) (1856-1921) :

Stromme was born in Winchester, Wisconsin.  He graduated from Luther College in 1876 and also attended Concordia Seminary.  He was a pastor, teacher, journalist, author and lecturer.  He published Hvorledes Halvor blev prest in 1894 and Erindringer in 1923.

Strømme var født i Winchester, Wisconsin. Han gikk ut fra Luther College i 1876 og studerte også ved Concordia Seminary. Han var prest, lærer, journalist, og var en av de mest betydelige norsk-amerikanske forfatterne. Han ga blant annet ut Hvorledes Halvor blev prest, 1894 og Erindringer, 1923.
