Biographical Note for Torrison, Isaac B. (1859-1929) :

Torrison was born on November 17, 1859 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.  He attended Luther College and Concordia Seminary, as well as Johns Hopkins University.  He was a pastor in Texas, Illinois and was the Luther College pastor.  He also taught religion at Luther for ten years.  He married Elisabeth Koren (daughter of Ulrik Vilhelm and Else Elisabeth).

Torrison ble født 17. november 1859 i Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Han studerte ved Luther College og Concordia Seminary, i tillegg til Johns Hopkins University. Han var prest i Texas, Illinois, og var collegeprest på Luther College. På Luther underviste han også i religion i ti år. Han giftet seg med Elisabeth Koren (datter av Ulrik Vilhelm og Else Elisabeth).
