O. and Bertha (Qualty) D.; Attended Luther Preparatory; received his masters from the University of Minnesota, 1923; received his PhD from Burton College and Seminary; attended Luther Theological Seminary, 1929; served as pastor in several congregations in Minnesota, North Dakota, and California; married Mabel P. Balstad; resided in Moorhead, Minnesota.
