Biographical Note

Wulfsberg was born in Drammen, Norway.  He immigrated to the United States and served as a member of the Massachusetts 2nd Artillery in the Union Army during the Civil War.  Nils Brandt ordained him in February 1868 in Decorah, Iowa.  He served as a pastor to several congregations and then as manager of Lutheran Publishing House in Decorah until 1905.

Wulfsberg ble født i Drammen. Han utvandra til USA og tjenestegjorde i Massachusetts andre artilleri i Union Army under den amerikanske borgerkrigen. Han ble ordinert av Nils Brandt februar 1868 i Decorah, Iowa. Han var prest i flere menigheter og ble senere bestyrer for Lutheran Publishing House i Decorah til 1905.
