Scope and Contents: This collection consists of biographical files, such as news clippings and awards; correspondence; Effigy Mounds research files documenting field work, scholarship, and lobbying; professional development files, such as conference and seminar notes; professional service notes regarding various boards and professional organizations and committees; other research files not regarding Effigy Mounds; teaching files, including class lectures, examinations, and schedules; compositions by Dr. Mallam; various non-textual materials, such as photographic negatives, slides, and maps; and writings about Dr. Mallam.  These materials range from 1960-1993.
