Item 71: Storhaug, Thor Thorsen and Agatha Vik: Biographical/Historical Note: "Thor Torsen Storhaug (b. 1800) and Agatha Vik Storhaug (b. 1802) came to America in 1856 on a sailing vessel. Three months before the journey was completed they arrived in Ossian Iowa. They settled there on a farm and lived there about ten years before moving to Huxley Iowa. The vise was made by Thor Storhaug as a boy when he was a blacksmith apprentice. He farmed in Norway during the summer and had a fishing boat and sailed up to Lofoten beyond the Arctic Circle to fish. He and his wife, two sons, and a daughter all came to America.
