Scope and Contents: This series contains letters, reports and publications in regard to Lutheran mission work in the regions of Alaska, Kurdistan, South Africa, and Madagascar between 1876-1999.  There are publications regarding the progress and the effects of the mission work and there is also a detailed description of some of the connections that Decorah, Iowa has to the Alaska Mission.  Multiple letters were also written between the Preus family and members of the mission work.
