Historical Note: Born 1920 in Waukon, IA. Earned a Bachelor of Arts from Luther College and a Masters of Divinity from Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary (now Luther Seminary) in 1945. Ordained in 1945, served as pastor at several parishes. Served as the International Luther League President 1955-1958 and director of the American Lutheran Church (ALC) Youth Office in Minneapolis from 1959-1962. Served as campus pastor and Dean of College Ministries at Luther College, 1962-1983. Passed away in 2004.
