Historical Note: Born February 11, 1846 at Pine Lake, Wisconsin. His parents were Jacob Rosholdt and Johanne Karine Jacobsen. Graduated from Attended Luther College 1853-1868, graduating in 1868. He then attended Concordia Seminary from 1868 to 1872. Pr. Rosholdt was ordained in 1872. He spent his pastoral career in Norwegian Grove (Otter Tail County), Minnesota (1872-1911). Additionally served on the Board of Visitors (1903-1905) and Board of Trustees (1906-1908) of Park Region College. Rosholdt married Gjertrud (Gertrud) Skotland in 1872. They had several children, including Johanna Rosholdt. Pr. Rosholdt died on January 9, 1911.
