Biographical Note for Lommen, Gulbrand T. :

Lommen immigrated to America sometime after 1851 with his wife Thora Oldsdatter.  They were married in June 1823 and had at least three children.  Lommen was the president of the Board of Trustees at Luther College 1857-1859, 1861-1876, and 1877-1879.

Lommen utvandra til Amerika en gang etter 1851 sammen med kona Thora Olesdatter. De giftet seg i juni, 1823, og fikk tre (?) barn. Lommen var leder for styret ved Luther College fra 1857 til 1859, fra 1861 til 1876 og fra 1877 til 1879.
