Biographical Note for Seehuus, Knut (1859-1937) :

Seehuus was born in Bud, Romsdal, Norway on May 3, 1859.  He immigrated to America in 1872.  He graduated from Luther College in 1881 and attended Concordia Seminary as well from 1881-84 (C.T.).  He served as a pastor in New York from 1884-86; Locust, IA, 1889-1917; Denver, CO, 1920-24. Married to Elisabeth C.H. Stub, 1886 (D. 1887; Helga C. Vedeler, 1893 (D. 1937).

Seehus ble født i Bod, Romsdal og utvandra til Amerika i 1872. Han studerte ved Luther College og gikk ut derfra i 1881. Han studerte også ved Concordia Seminary. Seehus jobbet som prest fra 1884 til 1924. Han ga ut ei prekensamling, The Old Paths, i 1914.
