Biographical Note for Bakke, Nils J. (1853-1921) :

Bakke received his Bachelor’s from Luther in 1877.  While studying at Luther he reorganized the Idun Quartette, and was a student choir director.  Bakke graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and became the Field Secretary for the Colored Mission of the Synodical Conference.

Bakke tok bachelorgraden ved Luther i 1877. Mens han var student på Luther reorganiserte han Idun-kvartetten og var dirigent for studentkoret. Bakke studerte også ved Concordia Seminary i St. Louis og fungerte en tid som sekretær for synodekonferansens The Colored Mission.
