Born January 20, 1923. Graduated from Luther College in 1948. Worked as a journalist for the Associated Press and NBC News. Luther College awarded him the first Oliver Eittreim Award for Excellence in Broadcast Media in 1977 and the Distinguished Service Award in 1998. Passed away April 4, 2008.
