Biographical Note

Dr. Mary Margaret Roberts graduated summa cum laude as class valedictorian from Luher College in 1944. After earning a Master's degree from Northwestern University in 1949, she became the first woman graduate of Luther College to earn her doctorate, graduating in 1959 from Louisiana State University.
