Biographical Note

Born at Osen, Norway. Attended school and taught at Asker Normal School in Norway. Immigrated 1867. Attended. Concordia Seminary, 1867-70 (CT) Pastor, Mound Springs, Wis.; Jefferson Prairies Wis.; Coon Valley, Wis.; Callender, Iowa; Princeton, Minn. Wrote many hymns.
