Biographical Note

Linka (Caroling Dorothea Margrethe) was born in Kristiansand, Norway July 2, 1829, daughter of Christian Nicolai Keyser and wife Agnes Louise Carlsen. Educated by private tutors; married Herman Amberg Preus May 5, 1851; immigrated to America, 1851; died September 19, 1880.
