Biographical Note

Born in Toten, Norway May 5, 1852; immigrated to the United States, 1867; attended Luther College, 1871-1877; attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, 1877-1880; served as pastor of a chuch in Flandreau, South Dakota, starting 1880; died, 1935.
