Biographical Note

Born in Slesvig, Denmark, 1825. Attended Kjobenhavn Univ.; Kiel University. Immigrated to America; served as pastor in the Wisconsin Synod, 1858-1860; served as assistant pastor to H.A. Preus at Spring Prairie, Wisconsin, starting 1860.
