Name: Kraabel, A. Thomas (1934-2016)

Historical Note: Born 1934; graduated from Luther in 1956 with a degree in classics; earned a Master's of Arts in classics from the University of Iowa in 1958; studied theology at Lutheran Theological Seminary and ordained in 1961; awarded at doctorate in theology from Harvard Divinity School in 1968; taught at the University of Minnesota 1976-1982; served as vice-president and Dean of Luther College from 1983-1996; continued to teach at Luther until his retirement until 2000; passed away in 2016.
