This paper discusses how Main II burned and the features of New Main.  There is no name of author.

Item 1: The Genesis of Valders, 22 October 1991

This paper discusses the history of Valders Memorial Hall of Science and uses letters and the dedication ceremony program as primary documents.  The ceremony program, along with an inventory of letters used, a copy of April 1955 Luther Alumnus newletter, and a photocopy of a picture of the building are also included in the folder.

Item 1: Koren Library: The Student's Memories, 22 October 1991

This paper details the history of Koren Library by using students' accounts and memories. It documents not only the physical layout of the building, but also the policies and procedures, such as having closed stacks, and even pranks students played on the librarians.  Documents used include books, annual reports, and oral interviews of ten people (Wilfred Bunge, Linda Disch, Helen Haatvedt, Steve Hubbard, Kathryn Kalsow, Erling Naeseth, Leslie Rude, Harlan Sanderson, Paul Solberg, and Wendy Stevens).  Paper also includes photocopied pictures of the outside and inside of the library.
