Scope and Contents: A small collection related to Decorah-Posten, a Norwegian language newspaper published in Decorah, Iowa.  It was founded in 1874 by Bynhild Anundsen, an immigrant from Skien, Norway, and widely read by Scandinavian immigrants in several states.  The newspaper's last issue was December 28, 1972, and was assumed by Western Viking (today Norwegian American Weekly).
