Biographical Note
Stuart Gulsvig was born on December 8, 1921 in Sunburg, Minnesota to Carl L. and Evaline I. (Mikkelson) Gulsvig. He graduated from Luther College in 1944 and Luther Seminary in 1947. He was ordained in 1947 and served several congregations over his career.
While at Luther, Gulsvig participated in several activities, including Schola Cantorum and Breakfast Club (both of which he served as president of), Irving Literary Society, Mission Society, and Board of Religious Activities. He also had a solo in the 1943 Messiah performance.
Pr. Gulsvig passed away on June 12, 1999.
