- Bible camp purchased/founded in 1938 by the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church; Dedicated in July 1938; In 1939 the camp board voted to build a chapel patterned after the Borgun Stave Church near Bergen, Norway; P.O. Nasvick of St. Paul was contractor; cost was $3,000 and it was dedicated July 1940 with final work completed in 1950.

- Biographical/Historical Note: On corner of Capitol Avenue and Hamline Avenue in Saint Paul, Minneasota Luther Seminary remained there until the 1917 merger with Red Wing Seminary and the United Church Seminary (which first was located in the Saint Anthony Park Neighborhood of Saint Paul). In 1888, the Norwegian Synod's Seminary moved to Robbinsdale, Minnesota after the Anti-Missourian Brotherhood formed its own seminary in Northfield at Saint Olaf. The original seminary building burned in 1895. The seminary moved temporarily to the nearby Hotel Georiga. In 1899 it moved into new quarters on Hamline Avenue, Saint Paul (pictured)

- Biographical/Historical Note: Minnesota State Fair Grounds, site of the Norse-American Centennial celebration, June 6-9, 1925, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the arrival in New York harbor of the sloop, "Restoration," with its cargo of 53 Norse Immigrants, which marked the beginning of Norse immigration to America. Practically everyone of the sixty buildings on the grounds will be occupied during the celebration for program sessions, concerts, 22 departments of exhibits, and Norse-American organizations and concessions.
