- Biographical/Historical Note: S.H. Ongstad born in Hadseløy, Vesteraaden Norway. Came to America in 1868, settled in Coon Valley Wisconsin, moved to Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, 1867. Moved to Manfred North Dakota in 1894 where he has since lived. He built this cabin on his sister's homestead and lived in it for a short while.
