Documentation consists of correspondence, 1850's-1910's (mostly family); diaries of Thora Larsen' photographs of family members, events, buildings and more; account book; biographical writings; reminiscences; annual reports of the National Lutheran Council; certificates; diplomas; students songs; notebook and fare certificates for "Den Norske Amerikalinje."

The Larsen family was the “first family” of Luther College.  Laur. Larsen was Luther’s first president, serving in that position for forty-one years.  His second wife, Ingeborg Astrup Larsen, like Mrs. Diderikke Brandt, served the students tirelessly in the capacity of mother and caretaker.  Several of Larsen’s sons attended Luther and had an active part in the Luther community as well.

Larsenfamilien er en viktig familie med tilknytning til Luther College. Laur. Larsen var Luthers første president, og hans presidentskap varte i 41 år. I likhet med fru Diderikke Brandt, fungerte hans andre kone, Ingeborg Astrup Larsen, som en reservemor for studentene. Flere av Larsens sønner studerte ved Luther og var aktivt engasjert i miljøet på colleget.
