Historical Note: Patricia Ann Gunderson was born December 22, 1947 in Leland, Iowa. She graduated from Luther College in 1970 and earned an M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Gunderson founded a scholarship fund in 1976 to support Luther College students studying abroad in Spain. She passed away December 28, 2010.
