Abstract

Collection of published articles from magazines and newspapers about Luther College.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

This series contains various articles in magazines and newspapers that document student life, the origins of coeducation, the Decorah community, and the Luther College administration.  The articles cover a broad date range, as early as 1914 and as late as 1995.  Many of the magazines and newspapers contain images and photographs that add to the breadth of the collection.

Both sub-series are housed in the same physical box.  Also, a number of magazines are listed in the finding aid as "items," however it is important to note that there are several copies of these and they are not contained in a box.  Instead, these "items" are simply arranged, chronologically, on the shelf.
